James N. (Nathan) Pippin, SRA

Nathan Pippin is a seasoned real estate appraiser with over two decades of experience in the appraisal and brokerage industry. Since beginning his career in 2001, Nathan has become a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser licensed in North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. He is also a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and Florida and holds the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute. He has a degree in accounting from American Public University.

At the core of his professional journey, Nathan has demonstrated a profound capability in conducting all types of residential appraisal and consulting assignments. He also has experience in forensic review, collateral underwriting, pre-delivery quality control, and post-delivery dispute resolution. His commitment to precision and thorough analysis has established him as a trusted figure in the field. Nathan also shares his expertise as a licensed residential appraisal instructor, shaping the next generation of appraisers.

Beyond his professional roles, Nathan is actively involved in several appraisal and real estate organizations. He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of Appraisers, and the Appraisal Institute. He presently serves on the National Association of REALTORS® Real Property Valuation Committee and the North Carolina Appraisal Institute's Residential Real Estate Valuation Conference committee. His dedication extends to his role as a Board Director for the Appraisal Institute Education and Relief Foundation. When not appraising or brokering, Nathan enjoys traveling, engaging in outdoor activities like bass fishing and deer hunting, and exploring North Carolina’s green spaces with his family dogs.
